The 1998 Motorola Midwest Regional was one of two events that took place during week two of the [[1998]] FIRST Robotics Competition season. The regional took place at [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harper_College Harper College] from March 12th to 14th, 1998. Like other events of the time, matches were played back and forth on an "A" field and a "B" field to decrease match turnaround. [[Woodie Flowers]] was the master of ceremonies and introduced matches for the event.
