Hello. I am the main keeper of the archive. I began collecting old robot photos around 2017 when I decided to find out what all of my team's old robots looked like. Learning more about older games and the robots that played in them led me to wanting to have a collection of photos of the robots that I could easily look through. I became very interested in the games from the 90s and early 2000s, and am primarily interested in games and robots from 1992 to 2003.
Originally, the photo archive existed on local hard drives in roughly organized folders with some tags added in Windows to make searching slightly easier, but as it grew and I wanted to be able to access it anywhere I set up Shimmie2, an imageboard, to upload and tag and source the photos I was interested in. To have a better way to look through older "bulk data" that is either mostly lost, scattered across the internet (or internet archives), or contained in odd formats or about games that common FRC resources are not set up to handle, I began working on this wiki. I hope you find it useful.
