Showbot was a robot created by Disney Ride and Show engineers which was used during the 1997 and 1998 National Championships at the EPCOT Center at Disney World.

The 1997 Showbot was a large yellow box with black skirting with graphics of Mickey Mouse in one of the 1997 innertube game pieces. This Showbot was apparently used in place of the Placebo in matches.

The 1998 Showbot had a large base and a thinner "body" with two arms and a stylistically exposed animatronic face that would roam the crowd talking and shooting confetti from its arms[1].

It is unknown what control systems the Showbots used. The 1998 Showbot was seemingly much more complex than the simple 1997 Showbot, and was probably based on existing Disney audio-animatronic technology.
