Scrimmage

A scrimmage, for the purposes of the archive, is typically a gathering of several teams during the build season and before official events begin where teams can test out their robots against other robots designed to play that year's game. Some scrimmages may have a more rigid match schedule, while others are more casual. Some more organized scrimmages have evolved into "week zero" events, which operate somewhat similar to offseason events.
