The 1994 FIRST Robotics Competition was the only official event of the 1994 FIRST Robotics Competition season. The event took place in the Nashua High School gym on February 24th to 26th, 1994. February 24th was a practice day with weigh-in and inspection as well as team photographs beginning in the afternoon. Seeding rounds occured on Friday the 25th. After seeding rounds an awards celebration was held at the Center of New Hampshire. The National Championship tournament and presentation of the Chairmen's Award took place on Saturday the 26th.

Two playing fields were set up in the gym. A large projection screen showed live video feed of the matches. Seeding rounds took place to determine a seeding order before the double elimination tournament and best two out of three rounds. The pit area was in the school cafe.

*Team -61 was caught in a snowstorm and did not make it to competition until the final day of competition and were given the seeding position of 43rd.
**Team -99 and team 148 both experienced serious machine failure and the two teams ended up combining and focusing on the more reliable machine. In 1996 Dallas Christian and Greenville formally combined into team 148. Seeded 44th was also "E-Systems Inc.," seemingly the other machine repaired by E-Systems to fill the space in the double elimination bracket.

Awards list

Larger awards this year were small models of the central goal structure with scored balls. Smaller awards had a hexagonal base with wooden rods extending upwards with a ball suspended by the rods that looked similar to the point-doubling ball scored in the 2004 mobile goal.

Team -105 came second to team 151 in the third round of the tournament and second to team 144's Sunny Delight in the final round before the semifinals and then beat team 80 in two semifinal matches to face Sunny Delight in the finals. Team 144 faced team -98 the Cardinals in the semifinals and won the finals with a perfect score of 36 to 31 in finals one and a score of 34 to 29 in finals two.
