The 1998 Motorola Midwest Regional was one of two events that took place during week two of the 1998 FIRST Robotics Competition season. The regional took place at Harper College from March 12th to 14th, 1998. Like other events of the time, matches were played back and forth on an "A" field and a "B" field to decrease match turnaround. Woodie Flowers was the master of ceremonies and introduced matches for the event.
