A demo, for the purposes of the archive, is a typically (but not necessarily) public demonstration of a team or teams' robots to show off their accomplishments and get the community interested in FIRST. 1996
In October 1996 another demonstration was held in Chicago at DePaul University featuring teams 13, 81, and 111 in part to promote the new Motorola Midwest Regional beginning in 1997.
It is shown briefly in team 111's 1997 team video. Dean Kamen was in attendance as well as invited guests like Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.
