The 1997 National Championship was the fourth and final official competition of the 1997 FIRST Robotics Competition season. The championship took place in several large tents set up at the parking lot of EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World from April 10 to 12, 1997. Practice matches and load-in occured on April 10th, with seeding matches taking place on the 11th and the double elimination tournament and awards ceremony happening on April 12th.
